Slo Casasola is the proprietor and brain child of Homme Cooked. He is a stylist and graphic designer from Los Angeles. He wanted to start an independent publication that paid homage to the lifestyle of art, fashion, travel, and the culture around him.
What is homme cooked?Homme Cooked is a quarterly zine that showcases a day to day basis of photos seen through the eyes of Slo and other artists living in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York. He wanted to connect the viewers and subject matter in a way that no other zine or artists have done before – through well crafted stories and visual experiences.
How did it start?Homme Cooked initially started off as a college project celebrating everyday life in San Francisco. Slo wanted to build off the notion that doing something is more fun than just owning something.
